Balkan Grill Boro

When restaurant Balkangrill Boro opened its doors for guests in 1977, there were not yet many restaurants on the wharfs of 'de Oudegracht' and in Utrecht. Boro is unique: restaurants that can compete with Eastern European cuisine are hardly or not at all.

Balkan grill Boro is located at the wharf of the de Oudegracht. The restaurant extends over three halls, in adjacent cellars. The tiles on the floor, wooden paneling along the walls and beautiful wall paintings create an atmospheric environment in which it is pleasant for you, the guest, to be pleasant. Eastern European cuisine does the rest.

Restaurant Balkangrill Boro is a typical grill restaurant and meat dishes are the most common. But in addition to meat, fish is also served and even for a vegetarian meal one can go to Boro. The menu includes dishes from different Eastern European countries such as: Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Slovakia and even Russia.
